Sure it’s not always that simple, but most companies have the foresight to get their domains before they make any strategic moves or announcements to keep their trademarks safe.

Any joker with a computer can go to godaddy.com and register a domain for $8.

Recently, an organization as notable as the storied Boston Red Sox got beat by the oldest domain trick in the book. They are opening a new Spring Training Facility in Florida called JetBlue Park at Fenway South. While executives were throwing around millions of dollars to secure naming rights and building a beautiful new ballpark, they overlooked registering the domain name JetBluePark.com

Currently if you go to jetbluepark.com you are redirected to the website of the Red Sox’s biggest rival, the dreaded New York Yankees. It will be interesting to see what the Red Sox do about this problem.

Though still being tweaked, I recently helped launch a website for a top Philadelphia Cover Band.

The site is WordPress powered, enabling the band to update the site, including the eye-catching show poster, slider system.

The theme is custom built and features lots of transparent and/or grungy surfaces.

Wow, followed a friend’s link today and uncovered this awesome online graphic novel. I have never been into comics or graphic novels much but the writing is hilarious and the art is absolutely breathtaking.

I’m not a good artist, or ever been particularly fond of my draw-rings, but recently I’ve been leaving Laura little surprises in her lunch bag on napkins – needless to say, this one is a keeper.

Yup, that’s Master Shake from Aqua Teen.

Hmmm, so I recently realized I like watching Lifetime. So maybe not the weird made-for-TV-movies, but the quick-buck, cost-nothing-to-produce reality shows.

I was trying to think of a way to preface this post with something clever that says something like, ” that’s not what I really meant, just wanted to get your attention,” but yeahhhh, I got nothin’. Unfortunately over the past half year or so I somehow got in the downward spiral of watching more and more cable reality shows with my girlfriend and will really watch anything, from Storage Wars to Toddlers & Tiaras (or T-’n'-T as I call it).

I’d like to think I don’t get into the shows, other than a quiet musing here and there about weird stage moms, but sometimes I make swear words at the screen when a stage-mom, be trippin’.
